The top stories in Malta's newspapers

The fireworks factory explosion that rocked Malta early on Monday, and the prime minister's swearing-in, dominate the newspapers on Tuesday.

Times of Malta says the fireworks blast shocked Malta. It also reports that this was the third swearing-in for Robert Abela.

The Malta Independent says two men were treated for shock after the fireworks factory explosion, and Robert Abela was sworn in after Labour's electoral victory.

In-Nazzjon reports that two men were slightly injured by the explosion. It also reports that the electoral results were presented to the President, but does not feature the prime minister's swearing-in on its front page.

In contrast, l-orizzont dedicates the whole of its front page to the swearing-in, with no reference there to the fireworks factory explosion.
