The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers on Wednesday. 

Times of Malta says the strategy team of the Labour Party is holding regular meetings in case an early general election is called. It also reports that a man who allegedly attempted to murder his children has been arrested. 

The Malta Independent says the Constitutional Court has found that two men who had a freezing order imposed on them 13 years ago had their rights breached.  It also reports that the Iran war has no end in sight as Iran and the US dig in. 

l-orizzont gives prominence to the opening of Malta Biennale 2026. It also reports on tax relief for pensioners with additional income. 

In-Nazzjon picks up on the tax relief for pensioners, saying the new measures are short of what was promised. It also reports on the man arrested for the alleged attempted murder of his own children.
