The following are the top stories in Malta's newspapers.

The Sunday Times of Malta leads with fears that the Iran war could cause a spike in prices as businesses report higher shipping costs. The newspaper also reports that Malta faces a hefty bill as a wrecked, abandoned Russian gas tanker drifts into its waters.

The Malta Independent on Sunday leads with yet another warning from geologists that Malta's planning and construction systems are failing to integrate even the most basic geological safeguards. It also reports that the ITS campus at Smartcity is expected to be up and running in 2029.

MaltaToday and Illum lead with a survey of showing intentions showing Labour ahead of the PN by 7,500 votes.
