Good morning. The following are the top stories in Malta's Sunday newspapers. 

The Sunday Times of Malta leads with a plea by the parents of a Maltese businessman for the authorities to revoke his international arrest warrants, as he remains detained in a Moroccan prison months after completing a two-year jail sentence.

The newspaper also dives into the legal battle that came to a head when the MCCF foundation said it was turning down a ‘bogus donation’ in cryptocurrency from Binance.

The Malta Independent on Sunday says that only one of the current 23 women MPs has said she would renounce her seat if she were elected by the gender quota mechanism - Labour MP Rosianne Cutajar.

It also reports that the president of BirdLife Malta has slammed as a 'gimmick' the prime minister's plan to grant constitutional protection to traditional pastimes. 

MaltaToday speaks to the mother of a teenage worker who died at his place of work. A court recently acquitted three officials of manslaughter, indicating that somebody else should have been arraigned. The relatives spoke about the injustice they have suffered. 

The newspaper also reports that db Group plans to go ahead with its plans to seek a permit for more storeys on its massive Pembroke development, despite a local council u-turn to now object to the plans. 

Illum says Alex Borg strengthened his hand in the PN executive following recent elections. It also reports that cocaine is being sold locally for between €75 and €130 per gram.

It-Torċa says Joseph Muscat's legal team will travel to London when court expert Jeremy Harbinson testifies in the Vitals Hospitals case by video link. It also claims that an increased number of elderly patients have sought information on the effectiveness of generic pills after comments by PN leader Alex Borg that the general hospital should use branded medicine.

KullĦadd homes in on the latest financial and economic data and says that a significant increase in the Labour force activity rate shows how the Labour government is the guarantee for jobs and a secure future.
