Today is the last day you can collect your voting document

Voters have to call at the electoral commission's offices in person and present their ID card

Today is the last day eligible voters can pick up their voting document to participate in the general election on Saturday.

The Electoral Commission said voting documents can be collected from its office at the counting complex, ex-Trade Fair Grounds, Naxxar and from its office on Triq Ta’ Wara s-Sur, Victoria, Gozo, for those registered in Gozo.

Documents can be picked up between 8am and 1pm and from 3pm till midnight.

Any person collecting the voting document must call personally at the commission’s office. These voters have to present their identity card. No other document will suffice for this purpose.

The commission is providing facilities to sick people who are unable to leave their private car when calling at the commission’s office. A commissioner will deliver the document to them.
