The following are the top stories in national newspapers today.

Times of Malta says a Greek court on Thursday ruled that Pilatus Bank whistleblower Maria Efimova would not be extradited to Malta amid fears about her security and lack of guarantees she would be afforded a fair trial. In another story, the newspaper says that in a significant policy change, the government has decided to allow large-scale cultivation of cannabis plants, including the selling of flowers (buds).
