Times of Malta says two Malta-registered investment companies have sued the Vatican Bank for €24 million, claiming it breached contractual obligations that led to the postponement of work on a property in Hungary.

The newspaper also reports that PBS is investigating a number of “suspicious” promotions and salary increases dished out unilaterally by sacked CEO John Bundy.

l-orizzont gives prominence to developments in court, where a magistrate was informed that a woman who was found chained in an underground room at Fort Ricasoli changed her version of events after claiming she had been scared of her husband. 

In-Nazzjon reports on a disturbance by prisoners at Division 13 of the correctional facility in Corradino.

The Malta Independent says Gharb Council is angry after the Planning Authority gave the go-ahead for a new fireworks factory in the locality.
