Top band raises funds for animals

Winter Moods, one of Malta's top local bands, has just released its latest single Closer and will be releasing an extended play in April to raise funds for an animal charity.

Closer is the first single from the band's new EP and Winter Moods has decided that all proceeds will be donated to SOS Animals Malta, an animal welfare fund set up to help sick, injured and abandoned animals.

"We are happy to be back on the airwaves. We are currently finalising the work on our latest project to have three songs on our EP," Winter Moods' frontman Ivan Grech said.

Closer was recorded at Temple Studios and was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by David Vella, who also worked on the band's previous CD albums. SOS Animals Malta is made up of a group of animal welfare societies involved in both education and action in animal welfare.
