The mission of AmCham-Malta, the Maltese-American Chamber of Commerce, is to consolidate Malta's international competitiveness by accessing and adopting American marketing and managerial skills.

FedEx Express which connects more than 210 countries and territories by means of its global network is sponsoring the chamber. AmCham-Malta's president, Mark Miceli-Farrugia, underlined the fact that FedEx and AmCham are linked by one key objective - trade facilitation.

Within an increasingly liberalised and interconnected world, it is essential that Malta and Maltese business secure the most cost-effective and timely methods of shipping packages and freight across the globe, Pierre Attard, FedEx licencee for Malta said.
