I am a pensioner who resides in St Paul Street, St Paul's Bay (close to Mange Tout Restaurant) during the summer months. It has become a habit for many boat owners to use the slipway below the road to put their boats in the water and then park their cars, and long boat trailers, in the road, some of them on Friday evening until Sunday evening.

Each trailer alone takes up the space of two cars and one weekend I counted five trailers parked in the same road! This is very unfair as I, together with other residents, find no place where to park our cars.

I do not see why an elderly person like me should be forced to park on the other side of the bay and walk to my summer house in the unbearable sun.

Some residents are blessed with garages but others are not. I beg the authorities to take immediate action and have signs put up saying that no boat trailers are allowed to park on the main road.
