Representatives from a leading English Jesuit College have been invited to attend a thank you presentation for supporting Malta's Braveheart Life Cycle Challenge.
Stonyhurst College was the home for the start and finish of the race involving 28 cyclists and back up crew, who raised thousands of pounds to help Maltese people with kidney disease and to raise awareness of Malta's Organ Transplant Support Group.
The thank you event is being held at the Hilton Hotel, on February 21 at 1 p.m. where the group will meet Alan Curry, who works at the Jesuit college of St Aloysius, Birkirkara.
Mr Curry organised the Life Cycle Challenge of around 1,100 arduous miles of northern Britain.
Adrian Aylward, headmaster of Stonyhurst College, Lancashire, is visiting Malta from February 19 - 22 and will be accompanied by the College Chaplain, Michael Power, and the headmaster of St Mary's Hall preparatory school, Michael Higgins and his wife, Clare.
Mr Curry will present Mr Aylward with a Life Cycle Challenge commemorative shield and a copy of the film of the trip that was shown on Maltese TV.
Young people from Malta regularly enrol as pupils at the college.
