Tricycles being recalled

Tricycles manufactured by Guangdong Overseas Chinese Ent. Co. Ltd are being recalled by the Malta Standards Authority because they pose a risk to children.

The tricycle has a protective foam cover, which prevents small children from falling off the tricycle.

However, children can bite into the foam, causing them to choke on small parts.

The authority advised consumers to return the tricycles to the outlet where they were purchased from for modifications.

Importers and retailers will then make the necessary changes to ensure the product is safe before being returned to consumers.
