Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli reduced to one lane towards Msida for flyover works

The restriction will continue till September 15

Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli, which from Tal-Qroqq leads down to Msida, will be reduced to one lane between this Thursday and Monday September 15 due to works on the new flyover.

Infrastructure Malta urged motorists to plan their journey and consider alternative routes.

The first of six 60-ton spans forming the flyover was installed in May, and several other spans have since been delicately lowered in place.

Transport Minister Chris Bonnet said in June that the flyover is expected to be completed by the end of the year.  The flyover will take traffic between Msida and Tal-Qroqq.
