A Greek ship for the epic movie Troy, which starts filming in Malta next Tuesday, was being tried and tested in Grand Harbour by the Vittoriosa waterfront yesterday.

Maltese oarsmen are being trained on the vessel, constructed by Cassar Shipyard.

The movie is starring Brad Pitt (Achilles), Eric Bana (Hector), Orlando Bloom (Prince Paris of Troy) and Sean Bean (Odysseus) among others.
