The Broadcasting Authority yesterday announced the winners of its programme awards for 2003:
Radio category - Radio 101 won the documentary category with Gorg Borg Olivier: Missier Malta Indipendenti; Campus FM, in the educational programmes category, won with Banking in the EU; FM Bronja (cultural) with Id-Disa' Kori ta' l-Angli; Radju Malta (drama) with Dawk li fuq l-Igfna Jbahhru; Radju Malta (children's) with Cama Cama; Radio 101 (light entertainment) with Minn Liverpool sa Abbey Road; and Campus FM (sport) with Sportsfile.
Television category - Super One won the documentaries category with Dinja Ohra III; Net TV (educational) with Minn Gidd ghal Gidd; TVM (cultural) with Meander; Net TV (drama) with F'Bahar Wiehed; TVM (children's) with Zmeraldi; TVM (current affairs) with Bondi+; Super One (discussion/investigative journalism) with Team; TVM (light entertainment) with Gianni u l-Bqija; TVM (sport) with Lotteria d'Agnano... Sport, Spettaklu u Tradizzjoni.
Awards were also presented to FM Bronja on the appropriate use of Maltese, and to Campus FM for gender awareness in broadcasting.
