TVM and Super One Radio are the most popular TV and radio stations respectively, according to the latest Broadcasting Authority survey.
Between April and June, 20.6 per cent of the television audience said TVM was their preferred channel. Super One TV followed with 16.7 per cent, Italia 1 with 12.5 per cent and Canale 5 with 12.1 per cent.
Super One Radio is the most popular radio station, with 18.3 per cent of listeners rating it as their first preference.
The BA's Continuous Audience Assessment ranks Bay Radio and RTK in joint second place with 10.3 per cent each.
Of those interviewed, 24.1 per cent said that they do not have a favourite television channel, while 18.9 per cent of those who listen to radio do not have a preferred station.
Overall radio listening, at 67.5 per cent, was the lowest for the quarters considered under the continuous audience assessment (January-March 2005: 70 per cent; October-December 2004: 69.8 per cent; June-September 2004: 80.1 per cent).
Likewise, television viewing for this period was the lowest for the quarters considered under the present system of audience assessment.
