John Agius, 20 of Floriana was remanded in custody today after having been accused in court of having seriously injured another person and carried a pointed instrument without a police licence. The incident allegedly took place earlier today at Valletta Waterfront.

In a separate arraignment, Syrian Adel Dawah, 40, was also accused of injuring another person with a pointed instrument in an incident yesterday in Floriana.

Both men pleaded not guilty and were remanded in custody.
