Liam Mallia, 18, and Darren Agius, 22, both of Marsascala, have been held in remand after pleading not guilty to having resisted the police, ignored police orders and slightly injured two constables early this morning.

The incident happened in St George's Street, Paceville, at about 3 a.m.

Inspector Trevor Micallef prosecuted.
