The girls, a 16-year-old from Birkirkara and a 17-year-old from Hamrun, pleaded guilty to stealing Angela Borg's mobile phone, a fiver and a bank card from a locker at the St Aloysius gym in Birkirkara on April 15.
They also pleaded guilty to withdrawing Lm100 each, making malicious use of the card, defrauding Borg and Bank of Valletta and three counts of forgery.
Their names cannot be published because they are minors.
Police Inspector Kevin Farrugia prosecuted.
