Two people were hospitalised on Sunday after a fire engine overturned at Malta International Airport.

The police said the accident happened at 4.15pm.

The people injured are a 31-year-old man from Msida and a 46-year-old man from St Julian's.

Their condition is not yet known.

The police are investigating.
