Two of Malta’s parties to coordinate which candidates will run where

Momentum and ADPD general election candidates will run under their respective party banners, the two parties have agreed. 

The two minor political parties said on Friday that they have agreed to coordinate which candidates they will run in each electoral district.

They will also encourage voters to give their first preference to their preferred candidates, and to "continue on the rest of the candidates from both the ADPD and Momentum", they said on Friday. 

The agreement concludes months of talks between the two parties as they seek to break the decades-long duopoly held by Labour and the Nationalist parties.
