Two men injured in Mosta collision

Friday night incident reported on Triq San Pawl tal-Qliegħa

Two men were injured in a crash involving two cars in Mosta on Friday evening, the police said.

The crash occurred on Triq San Pawl tal-Qliegħa at around 6.15pm and involved a Volvo XC 40 and Opel Astra.

A medical team was called to the site and took the drivers of the two vehicles to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

The Opel driver, a 60-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay, was grievously injured in the crash. The Volvo’s driver, a 57-year-old Mtarfa man, was slightly injured.

Police say they are probing the incident.
