Two-week summer 'university'

AEGEE-Valletta, the local branch of AEGEE-Europe, the largest European student and youth network, opens its summer university on August 21.

Spanning a period of two weeks, the event includes cultural events and evening parties.

A welcome party, salsa nights, fairytale nights, evening BBQs, treasure hunts, a European night, a Maltese night, sports activities, an astronomy hot dog night, wine tasting at Castille Wine Vaults, in-house parties, a Eurovision night and the farewell party have all been organised together with cultural visits to Valletta, Mdina, the Three Cities, Gozo and Marsaxlokk.

The official opening ceremony will be held in the Cinema at St James Cavalier at 10 a.m. on August 23.
