Part-time clerks in state schools have been ordered by the Union Haddiema Maghqudin not to do work which used to be done by staff at a higher grade.

The union also ordered them not to do work that was not within their job description.

The directives were given because the Education Ministry failed to present counter proposals regarding these employees after an industrial dispute was registered on Tuesday, the union said.
