The Union Haddiema Maghqudin said it had been given sole recognition by Maltapost to represent employees.

The recognition came after a verification exercise carried out by the director of labour and industrial relations, which established that the majority of Maltapost workers had joined the UHM, the union said.

The union said it was preparing to submit its proposals for a new collective agreement.
