The Union Haddiema Maghudin has registered an industrial dispute with Maltapost over what it described as insufficient information given to employees over the proposed restructuring of the company.

The union said Maltapost was claiming it had a surplus of 266 employees.

The UHM said Maltapost had failed to find adequate solutions that safeguarded the interests of workers and had dragged its feet in talks over a collective agreement.
