The Royal British Legion (Malta Branch) said it has been officially informed that British government pensions and related allowances will be increased by 3.1 per cent this month in line with the UK Retail Price Index.

The branch also announced that street collections during the Poppy appeal campaign last year and other fund raising activities in aid of needy Maltese ex-servicemen and dependants raised the sum of Lm4,481.
