Students undertaking an M.Sc in Management and Information Systems at the University of Manchester recently conducted a week-long study trip in Malta.

The students were accompanied by M.Sc programme director Richard Duncombe.

The annual visit helps students get an insight into some of the real world issues that organisations confront when they implement IT systems.

As part of the visit the students were given a presentation by Jeffrey Sultana IT and network services manager at Vodafone Malta on the IT challenges the company faces. After the presentation, the students visited one of the company's data centres in St Venera.
