I refer to the letter by Joseph Galea (The Sunday Times, December 20). The car park at Le Méridien St Julian's Hotel and Spa is leased out to a private contractor. Any negotiations would have to be conducted with this contractor.

The underground car park has a total capacity of 154 spaces and some of these are already occupied on a long-term arrangement with the private contractor, apart from a number that have to be reserved for in-house hotel guests and patrons.
