The guide to better investing, published by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) proved to be very popular and it is clear that the MFSA intends to retain the momentum.
This time they have published six booklets full of essential information to consumers on insurance in Malta with a particular focus on specific types of insurance, namely motor insurance, health insurance, property insurance, travel insurance and life insurance.
These booklets are aptly named "Understand your insurance - make it your policy!" and they are available to all consumers free of charge. Consumers who would like copies of the booklets can contact the MFSA consumer helpline (freephone 8007-4924) or send an e-mail to consumerinfo@mfsa.com.mt.
There is an online version of the six booklets on the MFSA Website - www.mfsa.com.mt/insuranceguide. This includes a glossary of over 140 widely used insurance terms explained, a search facility and an update log. If however, you want more information or else you wish to ask any questions about insurance, you are welcome to ask them on-line. You are also welcome to express your point of view about insurance related issues.
Tomorrow, as Lilian Maistre's regular guest in her programme Familja Wahda at 9.30 a.m. on Radju Malta, Geoffrey Bezzina, consumer complaints manager at the MFSA, will be my guest. If you have any questions or comments on this important consumer issue, you are invited to call in on 2291-3383/4.
Moreover, also tomorrow, at 6 p.m. on TVM, as Valerie Vella's regular guest in Mill-Box, produced by Sabrina Mulligan, Geoffrey Bezzina will again be my guest and you are invited to call in with your questions or comments on 2125-8851/2.
