A seven-session Bible course to promote a better understanding of the Bible and its message will be held by the Malta Bible Society between February and April. The sessions will be delivered in Maltese between 6 and 7.30 p.m. at the society's premises at 51, Triq il-Miratur, Floriana.

The topics and presenters of the sessions are 'Mary in the Bible and in the teaching of the Church' by Fr Karm Attard; 'Christian anthropology in the light of the Word of God' by Fr Luċjan Borg, OSA; 'The proclamation of the Word in the Liturgy' by Fr Hector Scerri; 'The human being: a soul that thirsts for God' by Fr Arthur Vella, SJ; 'What happened during the Passion according to St Luke' by Fr Alfred Agius; 'The beginnings of Christianity in Malta - Biblical Archaeology' by Glen Farrugia; and 'The Psalms' by Fr Martin Cilia, MSSP.
