A couple of days ago our parliamentarians showed us that they are of "one heart and mind" for our country. Once the honourable members are sworn in, to both government and opposition benches, they belong to the nation, though they hail from different parties and have different ideals.
The parliamentarians seem to be flowers picked from different gardens, made into a bunch and offered to our nation. It is the nation, through the Constitution, that unites them under the guidance of the Head of the Republic. This time, once again, our parliamentarians have shown themselves to be mature, with sense of unity and love for our country. In other words, a sense of true nationalism. No boundaries existed in the nomination of the new Head of State.
Let us look forward to the benefits that might result for our country. E pluribus unum...united in one heart and mind.
