Can the authorities concerned take a stand against the delay of publication of certain results in some faculties at the University of Malta? I think that it is very unfair and unethical that students at times have to wait for up to a year for certain test results to be published.

Can the authorities concerned take a firm stand to see that all the results are published within an established timeframe (although this seems to be five weeks, this does not seem to be adhered to!)?

It seems that it is not the first time that students pay Lm15 for a revision of paper, and they only get their revised grade several months after their payment!

Such delays are not only unfair, but increase the tension and anxiety of the students awaiting their results. Moreover, when the results are published after several months, they partly lose their intended value.

I hope that this plea does not fall onto deaf ears, and that action is taken so that all University results are published within a limited and reasonable time. After all, students are often penalised when they hand in their work late, why cannot this also apply to their examiners?
