The director of the University Gozo Centre, Lino Briguglio, recently distributed certificates to 132 candidates who followed courses at the University Gozo Centre between September 2001 and August 2002.

The University of Malta is offering three degree courses at the University Gozo Centre - the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Commerce and the Masters in Education.

In addition two diploma courses in commerce and in education are being offered.

Prof. Briguglio said the short courses offered by the Gozo Centre helped participants to familiarise themselves with university education, and they often decided to continue their studies and take a university degree course.
