University Students Council

The Kunsill Studenti Universitarji (KSU) is the oldest national student union in Europe. Its aims are to represent students from University, Junior College, Medical School, Institute of Health Care and the Malta Centre of Restoration in all matters political, educational and cultural both on a national and international level and to promote Maltese students' talents through activities and by offering various opportunities and services.

KSU offers students the chance to participate actively in any of its various activities whether by being part of the organising committee or by being involved in the activity itself.

Activities are varied both educational and fun. Students Festival, Miss Campus, Comedy Night, Art Exhibitions, Environmental Fair, Career's Convention, Higher Education Conference and the Reach out Campaign amongst many others are a clear sign of an active and representative KSU.

Students are also welcome to help in the general running of KSU as well as PR and finance.

KSU also offers varied services. The complaints system is the main service offered by KSU where the Education Commission deals with educational problems encountered by students. KSU also offers a toga rental service and the opportunity to take extra curricular credits by participation within KSU.

Students also form part of the KSU structure when they are elected as representatives on their respective faculty boards or through student organisations that form part of KSU's social policy commission.

KSU is a full member of the European Student International Bureau (ESIB) which is the European body of National Student Unions and is also a member of the European Student Forum (ESF).
