Unjustly fined

I too had occasion to write more than once about heartless road fines. When are our Christian values going to be upheld and take precedence above everything else? Indeed, when are they going to be given more importance than pecuniary gain? So we are not placing roadside bombs like other countries and other religions are doing. But are these behaviours not morally tantamount to the same thing? If there were no clear markings on the road, how could one have a clear conscience when penalising?

Furthermore, why are attitudes not more benign, more citizen-friendly and more positive? Why should there always be this feeling as if we are all guilty of something or other and have to prove ourselves innocent? Exactly the opposite of what the rule of law states: That one is innocent until proven guilty! Why are we all treated as naughty boys or girls all the time?

During the festive season one tends to see a little bit more benevolence reigning. Why cannot this last all the year round?
