A dodgy cobble stone, a metal grating with a gap wide enough to fit a child's foot, not to mention the various DIY cement patches contribute, in no small part, to the disquieting high number of people who fall, trip up or just simply lose their footing on the uneven pavement on Tower Road, Sliema.
