Updated information and results on the outcome of this weekend's general election will be made available free of charge to users of go mobile's new SIM card - smart SIM - as part of the Information on Demand (IOD) service.

Once the election service is downloaded on one's smart SIM, the service can be accessed directly by choosing "go mobile" (or "Operator Service") from the phone menu, and then followed by "Elections". Smart SIM users then can choose to download three types of information services: "Summary", "Districts" and "News".

"Summary" provides the overall result including the number of registered voters, number of votes cast on Saturday, percentage of total registered voters, first count vote distribution and percentages, as well as the number of candidates elected by each party.

"Districts" covers each of the 13 electoral districts, providing the status of each count as well as the status of each candidate.

"News" gives general election news throughout the three-day period, from Saturday to Monday.
