The period for vaccination against swine flu has been extended until Saturday, the Health Division said yesterday.

Those eligible for vaccination include healthcare workers, pregnant women and people suffering from chronic illnesses. The vaccine will be given to those eligible at all health centres from 3 to 7 p.m. and at Gozo General Hospital from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

People should present their ID card, Schedule V or a medical certificate indicating the chronic condition. In the case of children, the vaccination record must be presented.
