The Valletta Waterfront Christmas Express

Younger visitors can also participate in a selection of complimentary activities.

Featuring daily parades, a traditional Baby Jesus procession and more, in a packed calendar of activities, this renowned destination is one to visit this season.

The jolly man himself, Santa Claus together with his Mrs., will be available for photo opportunities from Sunday, November 30 until December 23 prior to their round-the-world annual trip! And you can post your letter to Santa in the designated mailbox for a free guaranteed reply for Malta and Gozo based addresses.

Enjoy daily festive parades taking place every Wednesday through to Sunday at 7:30pm. Visitors are invited to witness a charming procession led by Santa Claus and Mrs Claus, accompanied by an array of colourful Christmas characters, skilled jugglers, stilt walkers, and the stirring sounds of pipes, drums, and traditional marching bands, with some sweet surprises thrown in for good measure.

Guests may enjoy the experience from the comfort of their restaurant seat along the route, taking in the atmosphere as the parade moves past. The experience is complemented by a selection of seasonal dishes, warm infused drinks, and diverse cuisines offered by the restaurants lining the waterfront, creating an evening that blends festive tradition with relaxed enjoyment.

Younger visitors can also participate in a selection of complimentary activities, including tuff tray ‘Winter Wonderland’ sessions, slime decorating, reclaimed wood craft painting, sand art, face painting, and more – all designed to provide engaging and creative moments throughout the season.
