Vandalism against the nation

I cannot explain my sorrow for the barbaric act which defaced Portes des Bombes and other public or private properties with burnt oil.

I cannot imagine there are still people around, with a chicken-size brain, to enjoy causing damage to monuments and property. What do these people think, in their dirty minds, of obtaining by performing such vandal acts? They only get what other vandals got when they defaced Mnajdra: the satisfaction of showing the hatred and vindictive nature they were born with. These vandals deserve no mercy from anyone if they are caught, be it society, the police or, above all, the law courts.

I very much wish and appeal to persons who perhaps have any information on these criminals to pass it on to the police, thus doing their duty. I am sure the police will do their utmost but it is also the duty of society to help.
