The Nationalist Party's College of Councillors condemned vandalism at the office of the Mtarfa local council.

The college said unknown persons entered the premises on Tuesday night and damaged council property.

The council had been the target of other acts of vandalism in recent days, the college said.

It called for public cooperation to apprehend the culprits.

The Birkirkara local council deplored the vandalism on the Wignacourt aqueduct in the locality and appealed to anyone having any information to contact the police.
