Two Attard brothers were yesterday charged with the misappropriation of more than Lm7,000 VAT.

Tonio Ciantar, 32, and his brother Johann, 27, the directors of Chains Enterprises Limited, pleaded not guilty to regularly misappropriating the money.

Police Inspector Alexandra Mamo prosecuted.
