Every time I hear Parliamentary Secretary George Pullicino speaking about the environment, I ask myself how much is being done to reduce the pollution emitted in huge quantities everyday by road vehicles.

By now, everyone is aware of the magic potion that the fairy, which goes by the name of European Union, will bring to us in a few years' time.

But before this magic starts to happen (if it ever does!), can't we do something by ourselves? It does not take long hours of driving to notice that many road vehicles are not acceptable when it comes to pollution.
