A man recovering from serious injuries following a stabbing rampage in Paceville two weeks ago will speak about the motive he believes led to the attack.

Speaking in tomorrow's edition of The Sunday Times of Malta, Haji Salah, a Libyan 36-year-old,  recounted how, intoxicated, he was walking through a dark Paceville street at 2am when somebody raced towards him, grabbed him from the back and stabbed him.

"I was convinced I was going to die," Mr Saleh says, recalling how he tried to crawl back for help. Another five men were injured in the attack.

The aggressor, another Libyan, has since been charged with attempted murder.
