The Maltese woman who was seriously injured in a traffic accident in the Czech Republic on New Year's Eve is recovering and is soon expected to be released from Kutna Hora Hospital.
Emily Pace Ross lost her left arm in a coach crash in which 13 Maltese were injured.
The coach, with 37 Maltese on board, skidded and ended up on its side in a ditch during a sightseeing trip. The other 12 who were injured returned to Malta on Saturday with the rest of the group.
Mondial Holidays managing director Martin Degiorgio said yesterday the company was still waiting for the official reports on the accident from legal experts.
He said that in the meantime Mondial had asked its clients on the Prague tour to lodge their insurance claims as quickly as possible.
Mr Degiorgio said that although Mondial's clients were disappointed with the way their tour had turned out, everyone had words of praise for Mondial's handling of the incident.
