The Vikings Sailing Club's 50-hour marathon kicked off yesterday afternoon at Haywharf, Floriana. The marathon, sponsored by the Malta Maritime Authority, will raise money for the Ursuline Sisters Creche, in Sliema. Special emphasis is being given to safety at sea in line with the MMA's safety at sea campaign. The marathon ends tomorrow at 7 p.m.
