Vodafone Malta has launched a new call back service, which its customers can use when they find another Vodafone customer's line busy.

With the new service the status of both lines will be monitored and a call between the two will be established the moment they both become free.

When a Vodafone customer subscribes to the call back service, every time he or she makes a call to another Vodafone and finds the dialled number busy, they will hear a message informing him or her that the call back service can be activated.

This is done simply by dialing *110#, pressing the Send key and then hanging up.

A message saying that the service is activated will be displayed on the screen of the mobile belonging to the person trying to make the call.

Once activated, the system will try to establish a call between the two parties when both parties are idle, over the next 30 minutes after activation. This facility is free.

Once the receiver is in a position to receive the call, a connection is established between the two Vodafone customers.

The activation of the call back service is free of charge, so the receiver will not be charged for accepting the call. Once the connection is made between the two lines and the receiver accepts the call, the person who originally tried to make the call will start being charged for that call at normal applicable mobile rates. This depends on that customer's particular price plan.

Free talk time to etalk customers

Vodafone has also launched two new offers of free talk time to both new and existing etalk customers. All those who buy an etalk connection and make their first call by July 15, will get Lm5 extra talk-time for free.

The extra talk time can be used to make calls or send SMSes. During this period Vodafone is also offering free talk-time to existing etalk customers.

All those who buy a Lm10 top-up voucher will get Lm1 free extra talk-time, while etalk customers who buy an Lm18 voucher, valid for a year will get Lm2 extra talk-time. Vodafone's etalk customers can recharge their accounts up to maximum of Lm50.

"Vodafone is not only interested in attracting new customers, it is also focused on ensuring that existing customers are given the highest levels of service," Nadya Borg-Busuttil, marketing communications manager at Vodafone Malta Ltd, said.

"Throughout the Trade Fair period, therefore, not only will new etalk customers be benefiting from free talk-time, but existing customers will also be able to take advantage of these offers.

"Vodafone is also committed to offering etalk customers the best service when they travel abroad." Vodafone's etalk customers can make use of a facility, which allows them to recharge their etalk account and check their balance for free from their Vodafone.

No matter how long the mobile call, these services are offered to all etalk customers for free.

While travelling, Vodafone's etalk customers also continue receiving telephone calls and SMSes from anywhere in the world, and can make calls to any Maltese number. In certain countries, the etalk connection allows the customer to make calls to any international number.

To activate the call back service or for more information on the etalk free talk time offer customers can call Customer Care on 247 from their Vodafone or on 2148-2820 from any other phone.

More information is also available from any of Vodafone's eight retail outlets in Sliema, Valletta, Naxxar, Paola, Birkirkara, Hamrun, Marsa and Gozo, or on the company Website www.vodafonemalta.com.
