Voting arrangements for hospital patients and elderly home residents announced
Patients to vote on May 28, elderly residents in care homes to vote on May 23
Hospital patients and residents at homes for the elderly will be able to vote on site on special polling days, the Electoral Commission announced on Thursday.
Registered voters residing at St Vincent de Paul and 34 other homes for the elderly will be able to vote on May 23.
Family members who have the voting documents of residents at these institutions should hand them over to the voters by not later than noon of May 22. On May 23 there will be no visiting hours at these institutions.

Hospital voting
Voters who are registered as in-patients as at 6pm of May 25 at Gozo General Hospital, Mater Dei, Karin Grech and Mount Carmel hospitals will vote in the hospital on May 28 and not as indicated on their voting document.
The Electoral Commission pointed out the patients must have their voting documents by May 25.
