Voting papers can be picked up in Naxxar and Victoria from Monday until Thursday
Those without voting documents will be unable to vote on Saturday, the Electoral Commission warned
Voting documents may be collected in person from electoral offices in Naxxar and Victoria, Gozo, from Monday until Thursday, the Electoral Commission has said.
In a statement Sunday, the commission said that voters who had not yet collected their voting documents could do so at Naxxar’s Vote Counting Complex and its offices on Triq Ta’ Wara s-Sur in Victoria.
Voting documents will be available for collection between 8am and 1pm and from 3pm until 9pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Documents may be collected on Thursday, the last day, between 8am and 1pm and from 3pm until midnight.
Those collecting documents should bring their ID card with them.
Voters will be heading to the polls on May 30 for a general election.
The commission reminded the public that they would not be able to cast a vote without their voting document.
Voters with mobility challenges should be brought to electoral offices by private car, with the commission recommending that a third party present the voter’s identity card to commission staff and indicate which parked car the voter is located in.
In cases where elderly or unwell voters are unable to attend in person, the commission said it would aim to deliver the document to their residence. Those interested in using the service should call the electoral office on +356 2558 3240
